Firetrap: From London to Italy

Let's get back talking about fashion, about a brand I've recently found out and that I fell in love with. You already know how much I love London, its vibe, its energy, its vitality. Today I would like to introduce you a brand that truly reflects this city. It's called Firetrap and has recently opened the online shop also in Italy. For the SS 2012 collection, the brand has reflected in the clothes the DNA of the city, taking inspiration from the English colonies. Safari prints, pastel tones, maxi dress, every kind of jeans, and then floral prints that meets flowy summer dresses, chambray clothes, neutral tones trench coat, leather biker jackets and then accessories in natural materials. Torniamo a parlare di moda, di un brand che ho scoperto recentemente e di cui mi sono davvero innamorata. Avrete capito ormai quanto io ami Londra, il suo vibe, la sua energia, la sua vitalità. Oggi voglio presentarvi un marchio che rappresenta in pieno questa città. Si chiama Firetrap e da poco tempo ha aperto il suo shop online anche in Italia. Per la collezione PE 2012, il marchio ha voluto riflettere nei capi il DNA della capitale, prendendo come ispirazione le colonie inglesi. Stampe safari, tonalità pastello, maxi dress, jeans in vari lavaggi, e poi fantasie floreali che incontrano delicati abiti estivi, capi in tessuto chambray, trench dai toni neutri, giacche in pelle stile biker e accessori in cui prevalgono le tele naturali e le influenze coloniali. Personalmente mi sono già innamorata di alcuni pezzi che spero entreranno presto nel mio armadio, voi cosa aspettate a dare un'occhiata ?? Three were the passions I would like to talk about when I opened the blog: first of all there was photography, one of the most charming and enigmatic arts in the world, and then there was fashion, a universe that is able to send pure emotions through a piece of fabric, and then came the books, a life's mates able to make us travelling while we are always in the same place. Today I would like to talk about them again, with some titles recently bought and read.

Tre erano le passioni di cui volevo parlare quando ho aperto il blog: in primis c'era la fotografia, una delle arti più affascinanti ed enigmatiche al mondo, poi c'era la moda, un universo in grado di trasmettere emozioni pure attraverso un pezzo di stoffa, e poi venivano i libri, compagni di una vita che riescono a farci viaggiare pur restando sempre nello stesso posto. Oggi proprio di loro torno a parlarvi, con alcuni titoli comprati, letti o sfogliati recentemente.
